Long Term Constipation Affect Future Pregnancy?

Patient : Hello Doctor, Will my long term constipation affect my future pregnancy negatively? To be clear, I am not pregnant. But, I have been dealing with long term constipation for the past 13 years of my life. Large stool, clogging toilets often, painful aches in the middle of the night sometimes, etc. I would like to know if this long term struggle will cause complications for me if I were to get pregnant in the future. This has been a worry of mine recently. Thank you for your time! -Mary
