Loose and moving painful trachea.

Patient

Q: Very recently, I have noticed that my trachea seems to be, for want of a better phrase, loose. I've never had it before, and nothing seems to have caused it, but my trachea now moves around in my neck a lot. I can push it about an inch out of place on either side, accompanied by a crunching noise, and sometimes in bed, it locks Out of place making breathing uncomfortable.
I just want to know if this is normal, or if I've somehow managed to injure myself without realizing.
