Low Back Pain

Patient

Q: Hello,

I have chronic low back pain. I have had 3 surgeries and I am in constant pain. It hurts my legs and back. I have had recent conflicting MRI and CT scans. The MRI showed I have L5-S1 spinal stinosis (which makes sence since i have all of those symtpoms), but the CT scan showed nothing wrong with the nerves???? Any way, my reason for texting is this, Friday morning, I had what I can only think of is loss of bladder control. This has never happened before nor since. My question is, is this the main problem that is an emergency or was this just a fluke. I can say, that I only knew I was peeing cause my hand was wet. When I started feeling around, I had made a mess. I didn't feel anything. It didn't feel like I was peeing and I was awake. My back didn't even hurt, at all (which i found wierd). It was like i was numb on the inside. I am scared and don't know what i should do. Can you help?

Thanks,
