Low Heart Beat

Q: My mother is 65 years old. From last many years she was suffering from depression, but now almost cured by taking medicines viz. Prothiaden 25mg and alprazolam .25mg. But now it is discovered that she is having the slow heart beat, around 40 beats per minute. Please tell me how it could be cured.
