Lower back injury due to diving

Q: Hello sir, i have an injury at my lower back due to wrong diving in our swimming class. I have this for a year now. I went to my doctor and he gave me ointment and medicine for the injury, and according to my x-ray result, i don't have any fracture. However, after i finish my medication, the pain occasionally comes back. Why is it like that? By the way I weigh 69 kg, 5'3 ft. What should i do ? Thank you very much

Symptoms:  The pain comes back at the lower back. (most esp. when stretched)
