Lower left kidney and back pain

Patient : The last few days I've been having a constant dull pain on the left side of my back, at the bottom near the kidneys. It's not a sharp pain, but it's constant and very irritating. I mostly feel it when I'm not moving around. The pain isn't specifically my kidneys, it's the whole lower left region around the kidneys, the pain isn't in one specific region, it's hard to know the origin. I was wondering if you'd have any idea of what it could be and what I should do about it? I haven't found relevant symptoms on google and not sure exactly what it could be.
