Patient :Over a year and a half ago, I developed a 2.5 cm bead size lump directly under my right ear lobe inside the skin in the parotid gland region, which it came out of no where. This small lump causes my right region under my ear to have a daily warm/hot sensation with constant pulsating as if my body is sending warning signals. My primary care doc took a ultrasound of the region and it showed up as a possible cyst. My doctor then referred me to an ENT specialist. The ENT doctor ordered a CT scan with contrast in which it showed up as a regular lymph node/ tissue. My question is why hasn't the node's warm/hot sensation and pulsating gone away and what could it be if its not showing up on the ct scan. My ENT seemed to be no help with his vague explanation. i have been prescribed prednisone, antibiotics, i even completed several detoxes but still no changes. It feels as if its taking over my right side under my ear and it won't go away. somebody please help. thanks in advance.
Symptoms: daily warm hot sensation, pulsating. small lump.
