Lump on side of foot

Patient

Q: Dear Doctor,
I have a history with cysts, tumors, and i have had one granuloma. I noticed a little pea sized lump about 6 months ago on my foot. It is on the side near the heel but it is not on the bottom. There is no pain, it is hard and firm and does not move. It seems to have grown more in size and is more noticeable when glancing at my foot, and it shows up as a little lump in pictures. I am going home from school this weekend and seeing my family doctor. I was wondering if you had any insight as to what this might be?
