Lump under scalp

Patient

Q: My husband has 2 lumps on his head. they are located on either side of the front of the head, straight up from the temple. they are less than a half inch in length, and the size of a piece of pencil lead or angel hair pasta noodle, uncooked - tubular anyway. they do not look funny on the surface, not red, not really swollen to they eye, can just feel them. he said they hurt, and give him a headache. there have been no injuries, no bumps, etc. he is very healthy, no meds, no surgeries, no illnesses other than an occasional sinus infection. has a physical and blood work every year. age 46. any idea what this is, and what type of doctor would we go to? thanks
