Lymph node in neck presents as a knot to the touch
Patient : I recently discovered a lumo in my neck. My doctor confirmed I had a swollen lymph gland. I have completed a round of antibiotics to rule out infection. I have had blood work that appears normal and I had an ultrasound that said the node was dense but not swollen. The doctor said to let it wait two or three months and we would look at it again if there is no change. Should I get a second opinion or is there nothing to concern me here?
