Magnesium steatite in creatine, (is creatine bad?)

Q: Hello,

I began taking a creatine supplement today, to assist with lean muscle gain. I was looking at the ingredients and noticed that the product (purple k) contains magnesium stearate. I can across a few articles and studies and people seem generally divided on whether it poses any health risks. I was wondering if the inclusion of magnesium stearate in the minimum recommended dosage of the product (1500mg of creatine mono hydrate) is potentially harmful and if I should discontinue using the product. Also, I am currently taking a natural whey protein supplement, and a muscle gainer, neither seem to poses any harmful ingredients, but I am wondering if the inclusion of the creatine into this is a problem? Thank you very much I look forward to your reply.
