Male infertility miscarriage

Patient : Can my boyfriend's semen be cause of a miscarriage? I was pregnant and I believe I am having a miscarriage because I have been spotting light to dark for the last five days. And it's there when I wipe. There has been some bright red for a little one day. I have light cramping. This is lighter than my period. But he said he was infertile because of Polyorchidism. Yet I was pregnant according to 2 tests I took and he said I'd lose it because of his infertility. How is that possible? He was told he has no chance at kids whatsoever so this was a surprise to me.
