Patient :I was recently told that I have a right ovary six years after a bilateral oophorectomy. It is a normal sized ovary, no masses, no fluid in the cul-de-sac, and one functional cyst measuring 2 cm. There was also several small follicles seen. Is this an indicator that I may be able to harvest eggs and with my husband have a child to add to our family? I won't see the doctor for a bit for a follow up and want to check in with a reproductive endocrinologist.
Thank you in advance
