Medial meniscus pain - when to go to dr

Patient : I have a bad knee, previous injuries include: partial lateral collateral tear, lateral and medial meniscus tears and a partial acl tear. I have had 2 scopes to clean up the meniscus, 1 acl reconstruction, 1 acl revision and 1 surgery to remove some painful hardware. I currently have medial pain which feels like a meniscus tear. How long should I R.I.C.E. my knee before I go to an orthopedic? Thank you for your time.
Symptoms:  Right knee medial pain when leg is extended fully, crackling and popping and some minor swelling, no stability issues
