Patient :On my urine test a few years ago 2012 my urate was high 428, I was prescribed zyloprim 300 mg, the year after it was normal. I moved so I had to see another doctor for renewal. He asked me why I was taking that medication, he says you take that only if you have gout or kidney stones. I thought that medication was to prevent the stone or gout? Should I take it or not?
