Middle back back

Patient : For the past 3 to 4 months I have had a VERY uncomfortable aching tingling pain on the ride side of my spine. It seems to be the muscle surrounding the spine. Its more swollen than the left side. And its very uncomfortable. I am right handed. It doesn't go numb, but does tingle ALOT. I have no pain anywhere else except this and for the past 8 years I have had a sharp stinging pain on the right side of my lower neck beside my shoulder blade. The pain beside my spine is uncomfortable in any position I lay and sit. Ive never had this pain before until i started an office job 6 months ago. Any ideas on what could be wrong?
