Migraines and alcohol.

Q: I have always suffered from migraines for as long as I can remember. I am a very social person and that comes with going out and having alcoholic drinks. I am finding any time I drink 1-3 beers, about an hour later I get a really bad migraine/headache. I was wondering ways to prevent it? I possibly have a allergy or reaction to certain ingredients in the beer? It has been destroying my social life. I also just recently quit smoking, does smoking and drinking bring these headaches on? I try to keep hydrated before and while I drink, so I know it's not a problem with this.

Any advice would be great.
