Mri knee scan advice

Q: Just had my report through from an MRI scan on my knee my appointment with the doc aint for 2 weeks, was wondering if u could translate it and let me know what it means in layman terms

MRI scan shows inconspicuous imaging of menisci as well as collateral ligaments and cruciate ligaments. Signal changes and defects in area of cartilage of retropateller aspect, as well as supratrochlear cartilage, in particular of lateral aspects, grade III-IV, outbridged
Discreet effusion in retropatellar aspect
