Patient : Why would a doctor not tell me how serious my neck condition would get from continual sitting. I used to go often for office visits for my pain after undergoing a spinal fusion and wanted to find out what else could be done to alleviate the pain. All I ever got was prescription hydrocodone for my pain. If I had been told years earlier that my back was going to get much worse, I could have planned to do something else or file for disability. Now it's too late. I had a major neck injury and my pain never goes away. All I have now is depression and sadness.
