Multiple Caregivers

Patient

Q: I have one daughter who is 3 months old. I have been home with her for the past 12 weeks but am now preparing to return to work part time. Each of her grandmothers (my mother and mother in law) want to care for her one day a week (neither can do the entire week) and so she would be with one grandmother one day, the other on a different day, and then at an in-home daycare on the other days. Another mom told me that this might be too stressful for my daughter to have to adjust to multiple caregivers and potentially different routines. I would like to get a professional opinion: are multiple caregivers too stressful for my daughter after she has been accustomed to just being with me full time? Thank you for your response!
