Patient

Q: My doctor has been treating me with antibiotics for a kidney infection for almost two weeks now. Some symptoms have improved, but I'm still experiencing nausea, lack of appetite and worsening flank pain. My doctor has been out of the office the last two days and since it's Friday I won't be able to talk to him until after the weekend. At what point would it be acceptable for me to go to the ER for the kidney pain? Thanks.

Symptoms:  Nausea, right flank pain, headache
