My hair has been thinning and shedding due to depression.

Patient

Q: Hello. About five years ago my mother passed away. When i was 12 my hair started thinning because of it. Still five years later and extremely stressed and depressed it still falls out in sheds and has gotten to the point where you can see my scalp when my hair is wet. I have no idea what to do and i'm very scared. I know it's not genetic because it would grow back and then fall out again and now it's at an all time worst but i'm not bald by far. I have not gone to a doctor.
