Patient : My husband has suffered from sudden onset edema of his ankles, legs, and hands for the last 2 days. Accompanied by moderate to severe pain, chills, and fatigue. Should he go to the ER? He's not had any recent injuries or trauma. He's 34 years old, has been told in the past he has high blood pressure and also has been diagnosed with Hep C.
Symptoms:  Edema of ankles, legs, and hands. Moderate to severe joint pain, chills, and extreme fatigue.
