Patient

Q: My leg feels a little tingly around the calf/knee/thigh and the bottom of both feet are hurting (feels like burning). I also keep getting twinges in my chest - it is a sharpish pain which comes and goes every few hours, on both sides, although I saw a GP recently who said this is nothing to worry about. My leg (the left one) doesn't exactly hurt, but it is achey and there is a strange, wet sensation around the knee joint, on the inside. It doesn't go away when elevated and has felt like this for about a week. I haven't done any vigorous exercise recently and it doesn't feel like muscle strain - it doesn't actually hurt to walk on, there is just an odd sensation from calf to knee to thigh. Heavy and achey is how I would describe it. Have managed to convince myself that it is DVT - please convince me otherwise!
