Patient :Okay. So my niece and I are very close and she has expressed worries about her weight. She is 15 and very self conscious- although I believe she isn't obese or very overweight as a height/weight chart portrays her to be. She is exactly 5 foot, and at one time she weighed 160lbs. She now weighs about 15 lbs less, but she is having trouble continuing to lose the weight. She is very active though- walking a minimum of 3 miles a day and is basically always on her feet(this is during Summer though). She plays basketball and soccer too- so she does stay pretty active during the school year. When it comes to her diet, she doesn't drink soda at all- and it's a very rare day when she eats fast food. I want her to be happy with her body because it is mentally/emotionally hurting her. Is there any tips I could give her? I don't know what else to tell her or do for her. She's basically a daughter to me, and any doctor we have seen in person has only told her that she is to fat and to see a nutritionist. She did see a nutritionist and did all they told her too(& still does for the most part), and it hasn't done anything for her. Please, if you have any advice or thoughts- I would really appreciate it.
