My wife and I are trying to have a baby

Patient : My wife and I are trying to have a baby. We are a lesbian couple, so of course we cannot conceive on our own. We did artificial insemination at home with the help of a friend. We did this about a week ago. She was on her period when we did it and within 24 hours she had completely stopped. And the last couple of days, she has been nauseous, very tired, hormonal, and smells that never bothered her before are making her very sick. Could these be symptoms of pregnancy?
Symptoms:  Nausea, fatigue
