Patient : I went to the doctor originally because of pain and tingling in my arm. I also was seeing flashes of lights in my vision in both eyes with blurriness and some dizziness. Headaches, stuffiness in my nose and I felt generally tired and just plain old bad. My bloodwork came back with a positive ANA. I was referred to a rheumatologist, neurologist and neuro-opthamologist. Had three MRI's that came back normal except for a slipped disc touching my spinal cord in my neck. All other bloodwork, neurological testing, eye test, ect came back negative. I was prescribed Voltaren and Flexeril which have been helpful. However, I am still seeing stars daily. Usually during the afternoon when I am at work in rooms with bright lights. My doctor says he doesn't think the stars are related to the neck. He recommended physical therapy and seeing either an orthopedic or an ENT. I don't know what to do next. I need advice.
