Patient :Hi iam wondering what this MRI means do I need to take any action?
C3-C4 small left sided uncovertebral spur leads to mild left sided neural foraminal stenosis. Central canal and right for amen unremarkable.
C-4-5 left lateralizing broad base disc osteophyte complex is noted which leads to moderate central canal stenosis as well as left lateral recess stenosis. There is moderate left neural foraminal stenosis. Right neural foraminal unremarkable.
C5-6 small left lateralizing broad base disc bulge is noted flowing into an irregular left sided uncovertebral spur which leads to moderate left lateral recess, as well as moderate left neural foraminal stenosis. Right unremarkable.
C6-7 moderately sized left sided uncovertebral spur which leads to moderate left neural foraminal stenosis. The central canal and right neural foraminal are unremarkable. What does all of this mean please?
Symptoms: Pain in neck ,left and right arm, left eye, constant headaches, pins and needles, shoulder pain, balance issues, ear ringing lower back on right side burning trouble holding head up feet feel dead

I have gone through your query and understand your concern. You are having cervical spondylosis with mild to moderate compression neuropathy at various levels. Glucosamine and Physiotherapy will be helpful. Neurotropic agents such as Mecobalamine is helpful in reducing neuralgic symptoms. For pain relief, you can take an analgesic such as ibuprofen. Sometimes it requires operative decompression to relieve nerves from pressure. Hope your query get answered.
