Need help deciphering what my Doctor is unable to answer
Patient :36 F - Presented with right quadrant pain. Mainly in lower quadrant however some pain in upper right , mostly dull ache. Labs, CT, and US performed. Labs: Low WBC, Low Hemoglobin, High Protein, High Globulin, Glucose and Creatinine slighly elevated. MCV and MCH below range. Absolute Nutrophils below range. Doctor said anemia can be consistent with ovarian cyst. CT Scan: Soft tissue densities in the ovaries bilaterally. Fatty infiltration of the liver, 1 x 0.5 cm umbilical hernia. Doctor said Trans US, Abdominal and Pelvic US all fine. On pain medication for pain, Doctor said it's a mystery and put me on antibiotics. Said he doesn't know. Currently seeking a second opinion with another doctor, curious what these lab levels could indicate. Seems to me that an ovarian cyst is likely but I'm not getting clear answers from my current physician. (Who incidentally spent about ten seconds reviewing the labs when they came in). Any input you could give me so I can be well informed going into my next appointment would be great.
Med History: Complete thyroidectomy 2011 , two children, natural births. No use of birth control pills. Periods slightly irregular and flow changes month to month.
