Patient :Hi. My sister( who is 20 years old) had a pain in her body and was not feeling well last week. When referred to local doctor he told to do some tests. The following were the tests which gave negative results:
Haemoglobin: 8.7 G%
Red Cells: 2.96 M/cmm
E.S.R: 108 mm/1st hour westergren , On reprtition
E.S.R: 110 mm/1st hour westergren
Antistreptolysin 'O' Titre: 2243.0 IU/ml
When repeated with same sample,
Antistreptolysin 'O' Titre: 2240.0 IU/ml
Anti-CCP: 1.0 U/ml
Please tell what does these results mean and what steps/treatment should be done?
