Neuological Issue - Lightheaded, foggy vision, ER visit.
Patient : I am a healthy 39 yr old male who had an episode a week ago that is still undiagnosed. I was relaxing on my deck reading a book when I began to have trouble concentrating, foggy vision and lightheadedness. I laid down on the couch and later had a mild headache and tingling or weird sensations in both right and left extremedies. I went to work the next day only to be lightheaded, legs felt heavy and have trouble grasping at certain words. My doctor sent me to the ER. CT Scan, MRI, blood work, EKG, heart and carotid artery ultrasound all normal except for finding a slight PFO. I followed up with my DR who also did a chest x-ray and asthma test, both normal. A week later i still have occasional lightheadedness and occasional trouble when speaking. My girlfriend noticed that I now stutter occasionally and pause at certain words. There aren't any new stresses or external factors that i can thnk of. Any ideas as to what this could be?
