Next step

Patient : Please help. For some months now I have been having extreme pain under my left heel. I saw my GP who did an x ray which diagnosed a calcaneous, he then sent me to an orthopaedic surgeon who said that there was no spur but I had plantar fasciitis. I then had a cortisone injection once a month for 3 months but there was no improvement at all. On 12.12.2013 I had cortisone infiltration under general anaesthetic, now a month later the pain is even worse and I am hobbling around like I am 154 and not 54. Please advise what your next step would be. Thank you
