Patient : If it is a rotator cuff injury , would I have pain at night when lying down and also when I lye down at night on my good shoulder, it hurts worse on the affected shoulder, so therefore, I have to end up lying on the bad shoulder in order for it not to hurt so bad, eventhough it still hurts. I know that sounds weird but that's the fact. My injury happened 2 months ago and at first it only hurt with movemement of my shoulder, but now it hurts almost constantly, with or without movement and it sometimes feels like it is radiating down to my elbow with some slight burning sensation. And all this happened when I hurt my L shoulder. When the incident occured, I immediately had to go to the E.R. Does this sound like rotator cuff damage or something else?
