Numbness and tingling in back.

Patient: I am experiencing a tingling sensation in my upper back. This has happened before, a few years ago and now that area of my back has had a complete loss of sensation. I can’t feel a thing when touched in this spot. Now the tingling sensation has started again, except in the other side of my upper back around and under my shoulder blade. I’m beginning to fear that this side of my back will soon lose all sensation like the other side before it. I have looked online and some people had the same problem, saying that it could be something wrong in the neck causing this. I do have a bone spur on my neck so could this be contributing to these sensations? I want to get this taken care of so my whole back won’t eventually go numb. What could be wrong and what can I do about this??
