Numbness in hand

Patient

Q: There's numbness on the fingers of the right hand. Comes on and off very frequently everyday for the past 10 years or so, but It wasn't as frequent as recently. When the numbness comes on, I cannot feel the hand and if I was holding an item, I would not be able to feel the item. But I can control my hand well enough to open or close my hand, but it would be very stiff.
