Q: Is it normal to be sent to a Physician's Assistant of an Orthopedic Clinic to discuss your MRI results and next steps toward surgery?

I have gone through your query and understand your concern. Protocol depends upon clinic to clinic. Generally MRI is discussed before an operation among doctors and assistants to plan an operation and postoperative care better.
