Osteoporosis in L one only otherwise bones are healthy
Patient : I have been diagnosed with Osteoporosis of L 1 when all other lumbar and other bones are fine. What causes only one bone to suffer osteoporosis when all others are in normal range for a 59 years old? What is the best treatment given that I am already taking supplements and doing weight bearing exercises? I've been physical active all my life, of eastern european decent and post menopausal using bio-identical hormone replacement. Thanks.
