Pain In Side

Patient

Q: I had pain in my lower center abdomen for a week or so but I thought it was cramps from my period. The next week it moved to my right side and I thought I had appendicitis. I went to an Urgent Care. They did a CT Scan and an ultrasound but didn't find anything (besides a small pouch on the right side of my colon which they said was nothing serious and shouldn't cause intense pain). I've had the pain off and on for a few weeks then I woke up in the middle of the night last night with sever pain in my left side. I could barely breathe. It felt like knives stabbing me. The pain persisted for about 15 minutes and eventually went away. On a scale of 1-9, I really feel like it was a 9. After a CT scan and an ultrasound not reading anything what could this possibly be?
