Painful bubble under knee cap.

Q: Injured knee but doctor says they can't see anything wrong after xray and mri. What happened is a long and somewhat confusing story but I'll try. I was working night security at a local Motel and May of 2012 injured left knee taking aggressive drunk to ground. I landed with the full force of my body weight on my left knee. Was out of work for four months. Doctor couldn't figure out what was causing pain but pain suddenly vanished and I returned to work. April of 2013 right knee gave out going up stairs at work. Four months of doctor not knowing what was wrong before workers comp denied claim saying it fell under the claim for left knee. Been fighting both companies for coverage since. My right knee has not gotten better but has gotten worse. When it first happened and now there is a very stiff bubble that pops out from under my knee cap on the left side and is painful until I get it to pop back under my knee cap. Occasionally it is not painful but then my knee locks up and muscles attached at the knee tighten up for a few seconds before the bubble pops back in. Also I will randomly feel shooting pains up thigh or down shin on inside of my leg. Seldomly I also get pain on the outside of my knee but not as intense. What's wrong with my knee? Also since the injury April of 2013 my right hip has begun to pop in and out of the socket or rather it feels so. I cannot fully straighten it unless I get it to 'pop's.
