Patient : Hi, I have a painful bump on my labia minora. I just noticed it today. I am only twenty years old and haven't had any sexual activity in the past year. I do have problems with bodily acne. What is this?
Lumps in the labia could be due to ingrown hairs, sebaceous cysts and bartholin's gland cysts. These do not require any treatment unless they are causing discomfort. I would suggest that you take over the counter pain medication and apply warm compresses to alleviate your symptoms.
