Patient: 52 years old and bleeding everytime I urinate does not hurt at all

 

 

Doctor: The symptom you have described is called painless hematuria and there are several condtions which may cause this symptom . These conditions include prostate enlargement, inflammation of the bladder from infection or drugs, tumors of the kidney and bladder and inflammation of the urethra, which is the passage in the penis that transport urine. You should see your physician as soon as possible so that the underlying condtion can be diagnosed and treated.
