Persistent cough

Patient : Hi, I am in my third semester of pregnancy. For more than a week now i have been suffering from persistent cough and have been adviced to take deryphillin retard and Cefixime tablets along with zedex cough syrup(thrice a day). After a day i discontinued deryphillin, knowing that it crosses placenta and completed a 5 day course on cefixine. My cough has now subsided, but still the cough is yellow in colour. Now the doctor has asked me to take TusQ-x+ Expectorant along with cefixime. Is it safe?
