Persistent fever with antibiotics

Patient

Q: For the past three weeks I have had chest tightness, shortness of breath, fatigue, and fever (99-102). Seven days ago I went to the ER and tested positive for strep throat. The doctor prescribed Amoxicillin 500mg q8h, Tylenol 1000mg q8h, and Motrin q8h (alternating Tylenol and Motrin q4h). My symptoms have just become slightly better. I'm still staying in bed most of the time but my biggest concern is my fever which is still spiking despite having taken a week worth of antibiotics. Any advice?
