Persistent itchy skin and pin pricks

Patient : Persistent itching all over body, also pin prick itching, asked my pcp and no one know what's causing this. The only medical condition I know of is Hashimoto's thyroiditis in which I take 50mcgs daily. Endo doesn't know either but it is very uncomfortable; keep in mind this does not appear to be a topical skin condition as my skin is moist and bedding clean. This appears to be an internal condition is there a specific specialist that would know besides a dermatologist? This is not on the surface.
