Placental abruption

Patient

Q: Im 17 weeks pregnant with my second baby. I have had bleeding for 8 weeks and have been told i have a heamatoma sitting over my cervix and a slightly abrupted placenta. Im wondering what this means in terms of my care? How i will be treated? If my birth will be normal? My OB has only said that it can be an issue later and hasn't elaborated any further. I would like to know all possible senarios please.
