Patient : I have been researching about plantar spurs and most are about heel spurs. I was told by my physician that I have a plantar spur on the top of my foot, about half way back from my big toe. I have been referred to a foot doctor but wanted to get some information on the topic first. Is this a common area or uncommon area? Is it still a calcium deposit that creates this? Any information would be greatly appreciated!
