Patient : Dear Doctor
I am a female living in Japan. In a month I will spot for seven days and see my period for another seven to ten days. I met a gyneacologist, first he discovered a polyps. He told me it was benign and removed it. However, after a couple of months it grew back and was removed again. The doctor said it was responsible for my long menstration cycle which normally lasted about two weeks. Now in a month I will spot for seven days and receive my period for seven to ten days. In one month I will not see any blood for only a week after that I start to spot then period. I went back to the dotor but he said the polyp is not there and that seeing my period for ten days is normal and the spotting every month is when am ovulating. Is it normal for someone to spot that much every month and receive their period for up to ten days?I am worried. Please help
