Q: I am 17 years old. I was anorexic about 1 year ago and I would starve myself of about 400 calories a day and then binge on fridays and saturdays. I am naturally VERY thin and I am 5'11-6ft female. I am naturally 115 which is VERY skinny for my height but that is just how i am built. That was before my anorexic phase when i did the 400 calorie thing. Once I did the 400 calories thing I got down to 108. And 6 pounds does make a big difference when you are that small. but its just that i loved foood so much and i loved bingeing out that i had to do the bingeing and then starving thing. I proceded with this diet for about 2 years!! It started when I was 15 years old. Then I starting about 1 year ago I stopped the diet and now since I was binging so much I do it all the time and I dont diet at all! Now I am up to 165 pounds and I keep eating more and more. How do I get back to 115 and put my metabolism back to the way it was!!! PLEASE HELP ME I just want to eat normally now like 1000-1200 calories i think is right, right? and do moderate exersize. How do I start from now though to get my metabolism back to normal because I think that it is all messed up now because of the anorexia and the starving myself and then binging. HELP!
