Podiatry and or foot care

Q: About,3 days ago I had to make a 28 mile walk. However, the tennis shoes I wore I realized, during my walk, were not the best for my,walk.I ended up having a very sore, swollen right foot, after I got back to my apartment. The left upper side,of my right foot became swollen. When I saw it,I realized pus had bulit up inside. So,I sterilized a strait pin under fire and used alcohol,on my foot before relieving the pus, with a punture,to the pus area. However,it still hurts some, when I try to walk on it,and a little pus returns, after the end of the day,and I relieve it by squeezing it all out.Do you think Dr.Sharmin, that I need to visit,a Podiatrist..as it still hurts, when I try to walk, still? Thanks alot,Terry.
