Possible Diabetes? Odd reading?

Patient : Hi Doctor, First a small background--my husband is 31 years old, is very over-weight, and diabetes runs in his family. For awhile now, he has had some health "issues", and after doing some online research, it turns out that the symptoms point to possible diabetes. I told him that he needs to go see our family doctor, but he is refusing to do so, because he doesn't want it to affect his health insurance. Instead, he purchased the "True2go" glucose test. He kept testing wrong/ruining the strips-except one (last one he had)-which I helped him with (a little)--his last one when he tested, the meter read "Lo". I looked in the manual again and there's nothing in there about that reading?
